professional cycling is not the easiest place to learn photography, but its trial-by-fire nature has forced me into creative corridors i previously thought impossible. the longer i find myself in this industry, the more depth of emotion i have been able to capture, and the stronger my love for the sport has become.

Film Photography.

film photography is the most basic form of creative photographic expression, bringing the art back to the form and removing the formulaic approach many photographers apply to their work.

film can bring a different level of wonder to an image. not in the sense of interest or intrigue, but one of curiosity as to how an image will come out. without the instant gratification of seeing the final image immediately on the screen, both the photographer and the subject enjoy a greater sense of accomplishment upon reviewing the developed image.
